Students with signs smile on playground

To wrap up their social studies unit, Mrs. Friend's second-grade class took action to answer the question, "How can I change the world?" Their answer: hosting a Unity and Kindness Parade! During recess on October 16, they invited Kindergarten and first-grade students to join them in spreading positivity across the playground

It was a beautiful display of collaboration, kindness, and unity—one that made everyone feel a little more connected!

Principal JoEllen Tapper

Meet Principal JoEllen Tapper

Hi, Eagle families! One thing I love about being a principal is walking around the building and visiting classrooms. My absolute favorite is when I get to read a story to the students! A few fun facts about me: I particularly enjoy the children’s book called “The Book With No Pictures.” I would love to live on a sailboat and sail around the oceans to see whales, dolphins and all sea creatures! When I was in high school, I played the piccolo in the marching band.
