New Business:
-
Incoming Kinder Info Night – enrollment currently we have 48 registered so far this year. Let any families know that we are registering students for the fall now.
-
Report cards – Semester 1 – Feb. 2 –Reps on Site Council did not hear any feedback from parents. ISD is making some changes to the report card for next year. One suggestion to be more intuitive. Maybe giving more about what the number represents for parents or what the standard includes? Report card is often generic like, “Math Practices.” Could that be hyperlinked on the report card so parents could click on the link to see what that level of work would look like and what is included?
-
Before & After School Clubs- we have a lot of clubs going on right now: Art, Math, Reading, Green Club, Choir. Lots of opportunities for student involvement.
-
March 15 School Day – get the word out that it is a school day due to snow makeups.
Principal Report
-
Bond Advisory Committee
-
JoEllen and Sarah Ashbaugh are reps for MH.
-
We had the 2012 and 2016 bonds. There was some confusion/unknowns about how the funds were spent. The last ISD newsletter our Superintendent outlined the findings on how/where future money is allocated and how we are going fix this to make it very transparent moving forward. We are looking at a new bond soon.
-
MH is in need of a new roof—Please help community to understand bond money allocations so we have support when the new bond is presented.
-
Possibly have a guest speaker to talk to PTA about the bond and what it will do?
-
- School Updates through text: parents must OPT IN each year to get these notices. This can be done through family access or see Sonya in the office for assistance. JoEllen will send out the directions to teachers to put in their classroom newsletters.
- Literacy Leaders- JoEllen started a new group 2nd-5th grade to encourage reading and a love of reading. Talked about favorite books and what they would like to see in the library. Goal is to encourage a love of reading and promote student leadership.
Staff Report
-
Student Council – Warm Fuzzies
-
Was a lot of fun.
-
Possibly a different way to do this next year with a template for To/From for primary kids.
-
Possibly give template to teacher. Maybe they could do it in class? Give every student one to complete in class?
-
Can we get a stamp of To/From and volunteers could help stamp hearts?
-
-
Read Week – Feb. 26-Mar. 1
-
Event was a lot of fun. Kids engaged in reading; lots of buddy support, bingo, mystery readers
-
-
Concerts & Dance Nights with Mrs. Campbell
-
1st and 2nd grades this week. They did a great job!
-
Next week is K dance party
-
Other grades will be having concerts soon.
-
Perhaps talk it up a little more so that we have better participation? JoEllen will put out a reminder to Kinder families.
-
-
Kindness Week – Mar. 25-29:
-
This is at the end of March. There will be a different activity each day.
-
Paint rocks, bingo, etc
-

Staff Report
Title I/LAP Building Plan and signatures
Our district uses the Title/Lap funds for reading
- Student scores from i-Ready as used to select students to focus on phonics for Early Literacy. The screeners help to identify those struggling that could be associated with dyslexia. We do not diagnose but work with struggling students
- Most of the students that Carmen sees are K-2nd grade.
- Needs assessment
- Practice/Transitions
- Family engagement
- Success Blocks-designated time each day for grade levels to focus on literacy skills.
- This year we have 42 Students 1-5th grades are seeing Carmen/Gauvey. Last year we had 58. This year only 25% who continued with services from Carmen this year.
- Last year we had 1.5 FTE to support students. We were reduced to 1.0 FTE this year.
- We also have a program for some of our older students who are struggling with comprehension. 8 students are receiving this support this year.
Questions:
1. Do students exit out of program? Yes, in January based on i-Ready we can add students identified to the supports. We do not typically exit students during the school year because we want this intervention to be consistent.
2. Does this info go into a student’s file? We will check on this. This information is shared with the teachers and there is a progress report that is also given to families.
Staff update:
We held our first K-5 all school assembly since COVID-19. It was such a fun assembly.
- Thank you to teachers who used See Saw to communicate this event with our families. Parents loved seeing the singing.

Welcome
Norms
Opportunity to share items going on in school and community with our team. Please feel free to share things with the team.
New Business:
TITLE/LAP Building Plan
- Trudy Watts is our Reading Zone Title 1 teacher at MH
- She shared our building needs assessment which determines our groups
- K-5 receives one half hour of instruction time; using the curriculum Leveled Literacy Intervention Program
- Generous PTA grant funds additional para support for the program
- This year, first grade has higher needs. We plan to add Kindergarteners in the middle of the year. We typically do not see 5th graders.
- Practice and strategies—we are looking at students who are reading at least a year behind. We have added a computer component this year called Lexia. We have licenses for 11 students. We could use more to allow additional students to access this tool. It can be used at both school and home.
- Reading Zone focuses on reading, fluency and comprehension strategies.
- This fall, MH did a “Jump Start” program to help Kindergarteners
- We progress monitor throughout the year and enter and exit kids through the program when they no longer need program assistance.
- Parent Component: we encourage parents to actively participate in curriculum night, conferences, monthly newsletters/flyers etc.
Questions:
Does this program identify kids with dyslexia? No, the state is still working out the process for that. That would be going through the evaluation team.
The class size for Kindergarten last year was very small but still continue to see a high level of need, even this year in 1st grade. High number of students in first grade with low reading scores.
Do we need more of the Lexia program licenses for MH? We could always use more as that allows additional students. This program is fun and engaging and the students seem to really enjoy playing.
Does Trudy spend a lot of additional time looking for tools—does the district support her in this task? Trudy looks for additional ways and info to fill her pockets with tools to help students. Last year there were 22 2nd graders.
Question about which kids are selected: The most struggling kids are likely served by LRC. We typically look at the students that are our bubble kids, those with the second highest need.
What percentage of kids are not able to read on grade level? Our SIP data shows that our students are performing at a higher rate than the data out in the community.
If a student comes to school and is struggling in reading our first intervention is to get them support with TITLE/LAP services. If the student catches up with TITLE/LAP intervention then they exit. If not, then they may be referred to our MH Evaluation Team to see if we need to move to the next level.
Is there a training that helps us to identify kids who are using coping skills to get by in reading rather than learning strategies to help bridge that learning gap? Parents are supportive of this and want to help.
Attendance plays a very important part in student achievement. We know that kids who attend regularly are more likely to be less academically at risk.
Staff Report
- Parent Conferences – 97% attendance
- Staff report that they went well. We enjoy this time spending with parents
- As a 5th grade parent one concern that came up was not being able to talk about other subjects with their non-homeroom teacher. Is it a possibility to rotate through so parents could see each of the teachers?
- Peer Helpers – Amber Bryant
- This is Amber’s 4th year at MH. Last year she received an ISF Grant to fund this.
- She has seen a pattern of friendship conflicts following recess. This program teaches kids how to problem solve and be proactive with social skills.
- The younger kids get excited to play with the older kids. Allows everyone someone to play with during recess. We have also seen a benefit of positively influencing the peer helpers as well.
- This year we have 27 Peer Helpers. They were provided 2 days of training after school and are currently receiving “on the job” training during recess.
- This program is now being replicated in other schools in the district.
- National Board Certified Teachers –
- ISD was recognized as having a high number of National Board Certified staff.
- Congratulations to both Kelly Brunell & Christina Stempson for achieving National Board Certification.
- Honoring the Years of Service – Kinkade-5 yrs; Vaughan-5 yrs; Weltmer-10 yrs; Kardong-10 yrs; Lecoq-10 yrs; Benight-25 yrs
Principal Report
SIP Plan:
A yearly plan that indicates what areas MH will work on for school improvement.
- Our focus the last few years has been Math. Over the last 3 years our data has indicated that we have improved! Our 3 year goal, in 2021, 80% of our students will meet this standard.
Currently:
87% 3rd graders passed Math - Three years ago we were achieving a little below ISD. We are now at or slightly above this now.
- Note that we use the Wednesday time to work on data.
Building Remodel update:
- We are looking at reallocating the inside space as this is less expensive and faster and adds additional classroom space.
- We will take some of the space in the activity rooms and make them flex spaces for offices and programs.
- The gym floor is on the list and also enclosing the gym entrance to the main building.
- We have a lot of needs and the teachers have indicated wants. The team will look at this and the budget and then prioritize what can be done. The HVAC was our biggest need.
Community Relations
- Neighborhood report
- The lunchroom process this year has changed. Question about why can’t kids sit with their friends? We started this new process so that kids would have more time to eat and so they are not sitting alone.
- This year we have a rolling lunch start/end time. Students are staying at the tables so teachers come in and pick up their class at the tables.
- We have received positive feedback from parents that kids are having more time to eat.
- Our PBSES team has decided to add in a competition on getting to choose where to sit as a reward. We have added trivia Tuesday and Joke of the Day.
- PTA
- Auction is coming. Buy your tickets soon as the price will increase soon
- Student directory is finished
- Variety Show is Jan 31st.
- Please join PTA if you have not already done so.
- 50 Year Celebration for Maple Hills
- Nominating committee to elect next year’s executive board
- The school calendar could use some more updates—we want to have more advanced knowledge to events.
- ISF

New Business
- Start of School year/enrollment:
- Currently at 424
- We had a growth spurt and ended up with more students than expected
- Kindergarten is a lot bigger this year
- Staff report that we are off to a good start for the year—things are going well
- Feedback on 5th grade classes-have decided to have all three teachers working with all students (Reading, Math and Science) For 3 hours each day the students rotate through subjects
- Parents also like that 5th Grade has created “Houses” this year that earn points as a family. This helps kids work with different kids and helps with team building. Pro-social behaviors and this is helping to break the cliques.
- Meet the Teacher:
- This year we held Meet the Teacher in the afternoon. Feedback was shared that parents liked it. Some discussion on working parents taking time off in the middle of the day may have missed out.
- Pastries with the Principal events; next one? Suggestions?
- Held Pastries with Principal on the morning of the first day of Kindergarten.
- It was very reassuring to meet and have time to visit as first day of K can be emotional.
- JoEllen would like to hold another event.
- Better for before school or after?
- Recommendation to do a week after conferences—before school time, if parents have questions that come up from a conference

- We will have online scheduling again that opens on Nov 1st and closes Dec 2nd. It would be great to have both parents here so want to save the date early.
- JoEllen will send out the date for this in e-news.
Community Relations

Maple Hills Site Council
October 15, 2018
Present: Amy Archer, Heather Heiter, Lynn Callantine, Stephanie Lewis, Alyssa Kawamoto, Lisa Lecoq, Kelly Brunell, Tracy Magee, JoEllen Tapper, Dawn Carr, Kara Flynn
Absent: Angela Wall, Carolyn Kramer
Site Council Norms:
Meets 4 times per year. It is a committee that is site based made up of staff, admin and community members.
Site council will be confidential with any sensitive info discussed. The end result will then be shared with the community.
Committee members can bring topics for discussion.
Introductions and Welcome to the team
Staff Report:
Lisa shared that the dance was a lot of fun.
Kelly shared 3rd graders worked on “smell your way home” for salmon project.
Alyssa shared that 4th grade is involved with the Burke museum and new Social Studies curriculum. She also shared about the new Google Expedition kits so kids can take virtual field trips to go along with our social studies and science curriculums.
1st grade will be going to the zoo for a field trip.
Principal Report:
JoEllen shared that the bus routes are going much better. We have had a couple of days when things were late but that was due to traffic and accidents. Transportation has had quite a bit of turnover but is now well-staffed. If parents have any transportation concerns, should call transportation to find out who to talk with.
Kinder HiCap testing is in Nov. 5-7th. All kids are screened for this highly capable programming in Kindergarten and 2nd grade.
We had our new Enrollment Verification Process this year. Any feedback? Feedback: The middle school process was a bit more complicated than the elementary process due to sports etc. A wish would be to have it done one time for all of our kids.
The health forms: we did not have missing confidential health forms like we did last year.
One concern: For the EVP process you are not able to change emergency contacts. JoEllen will ask why parents cannot update/change them? Right now, parents need to call office for changes at MH.
We are trying to switch to TEXTS from JoEllen instead of voicemails. Parents must go into Skyward to accept the option to get a text. The goal will be email and text rather than the voice message. This information was sent out but JoEllen will put it into e-news again. If you have not received a text from Ms. Tapper in the past, log into Skyward and accept text messages for the future.
Back to School Meet the Teacher: This year we added some time as it was 45 minutes. Parents appreciated this added time
Holidays/Parties - Every year we have parents send invites to select kids for birthdays. We can only do the whole class to avoid hurt feelings. We always encourage that parents join the PTA to get the directory. Could our members please help spread this word on this?
Some teachers will ask the class if they feel comfortable sharing email addresses with each other, but otherwise invitations must be done outside of school.
Parent Conferences:
They are coming up. The sign up window started this morning through Dec 1st. We want to encourage parents to go online to review the report card ahead of time so that there is time for discussion and teacher can answer any questions they might have.
Many teachers email parents to let them know that report cards are viewable online in Skyward.
JoEllen will send a reminder to parents about signing up for conferences and reading report cards
4th grade does student led conferences.
Student Learning Plans for 3rd and 4th Grade kids struggling in Reading. Each year we help to increase awareness for those kids who did not pass the ELA portion of the SBA. During conference, they will discuss a learning plan to help them bring up their skills.
MH students will take the SBA in May again this year.
Community Reports:
Anyone know how the meeting went for the landfill? We are unsure as none of our team attended.
PTA:
The Dance was a lot of fun.
We are encouraging parents to join PTA. We are currently around 60%. Parents were unable to join during the EVP process.
Please encourage all to fill out the volunteer of the month form
All but one class has been assigned an Art Docent
ISF:
We are still in the process of “All in For Kids” campaign
Math:
Parents are struggling with the math curriculum. We know that there is not funding for more services, it would be most helpful. Is there a chance for some intervention groups? Many parents are looking at some math tutoring.
One parent reported that her son struggled with math at MH but now in the MS he is excelling.
If a child is coming home and struggling with math please talk with the teacher.
Would it help to have more info on Eureka? Maybe let parents know more about the You-tube videos to learn the strategy.
Is there a way to limit the amount of strategies that are taught to kids? The vocabulary appears to be higher than the kids developmentally.
What about Math tutoring groups? Can we add a second grade group to the 3rd-5th grades?
Our School Improvement Goal again this year will be to continue to work on Math.
Upcoming Dates:
The Matt Glover Training for parents is Thurs. Oct 18th on writing at Admin Building. A great resource for parents to work with their children on reading and writing.
Veteran’s Day assembly this year will be Nov. 13th. This year we will send a heart home with kids so that families can decorate and design what they want to put on it and honor a veteran family member.
Peer Helper Training: Amber gave approx. 80 out to interested kids.

Welcome
New Business:
- Congratulations to Sheri Ogilvie and Amber Bryant recipients of ISF Grants
- Sheri will be providing books for summer program for “Avoid the Summer Slide”
- Amber is starting a program called “Peer Helpers” with intermediate helpers on the playground. She will teach them conflict management techniques to help kids solve minor difficulties at recess. This will also help foster a student leadership opportunity.
- Kindergarten Orientation Night – pre-K screening - 48 students; WaKIDS data showing about 2/3 students entering with academic and social skills about 5 year old level; 1/3 about 4-year old level;
- Around 60-70% of our kids are coming in at a 5-year-old ability. This leaves around 30% of the kids coming in with less than ready Kindergarten skills. That is perfectly fine, it just shows the wide spectrum that is Kindergarten and how much work K teachers have to get all the students ready for 1st grade.
- We had about 17 families show for our K orientation.
- Enrollment Projections – class size reductions; We are starting to look toward next year.
- We are looking at class reductions in K-3 next year. We are going to try our best to hire enough staff to fulfill all the classes needed. Goal of 17-1 ratio.
- Where would they go? We plan to dismantle the computer lab and use it as a classroom. JoEllen is working with Capital Projects to see where they will be.
- With the current enrollment numbers we are looking at 4 K; 4 1st; 4 2nd and 4 3rd grade classrooms.
- With the levy that passed we will be getting a full time Counselor and a full time Student Support Coach.
- Amy Asked: Where are we at for the MH remodel? The MH remodel was part of the previous levy. There is a sketch on the site that had to be done when the levy was being voted on. It is a planning tool of a possible plan. We are not up for about a year and a half away. We will be adding onto the building not a tear down.
Staff Report
-
Green Team has helped to transition us to using the silverware in the MPR.
-
Emily shared that we are using the SeeSaw pilot.
Principal Report
- Cultural Competency – Glenn Singleton-Courageous Conversations about Race, PD with staff about racial stereotypes, reading civil rights books to classrooms
- Seahawks parade Spirit Day—lots of fun
- ASAP Math tutoring: Grant from ISF for after school ASAP Math tutoring for 3rd, 4th, 5th grades; Last year we did 3 sections with 4th and 5th. This year we were able to have 6 groups of 3-5th graders serving 36 students struggling in math.
- The data showed that all the participants improved in math. We are noticing more growth with 3rd and 4th grades. This year we did not offer transportation. 16 weeks of intervention. Teachers have seen an increase in confidence with those kids participating.
- Staff learning about and piloting a new social studies curriculum for next year.
- The old portable was demolished and removed.
- STEMposium: 3 of our students participated at IHS on a STEM project.
- Emergency Supply Drive
- We held an emergency supply drive and raised almost $5,000 worth of supplies.
- Author Trudy Ludwig visit:
- We held 2 assemblies—I primary and 1 intermediate.
- There was a special author’s lunch
- We held a parent night but the turnout was very light. It was a great presentation but we will have to brainstorm ways to increase participation for evening events.
- SIP Presentation to School Board
- Tracy and JoEllen presented last week to the school board.
- STEM Night – approximately 160 passports; ~40 projects
- We collected 160 returned passports for the drawings (we need approx. 250 copies)
- It was a lot of fun. Next year with the judging perhaps we can do this for intermediate students separate from the parents. Perhaps next year a drop off at 8:30 am. As the judging did not take as long?
- Feedback suggested that the length of the evening may need to be longer so kids can get to all the activities. 6:00-8:00? One parent commented that our software was a little behind in operating systems.
- 5th Grade Maywood Visit and parent night
- This went well. There was good info shared with the kids and parents.
- A suggestion was provided for giving parents info in advance on how/what to select for their kids in math and science for the remainder of their school career.
- Also knowing what classes are offered at LHS because knowing options will help better guide them. Get the word out--We need to get this info earlier to our 5th grade parents. By the time the packets come out it is very late. How can we better prepare parents for the transitions from elementary to Middle and then on to High School?

Updates on Committee Participants:
JoEllen has put an E-news for participants and a few people have inquired. Dawn Carr offered to be the May Valley rep next year as she will not be the PTA rep. JoEllen will invite them to the May 22 meeting.
Art Docent Program:
Asked for any feedback for Art Docent program. We have some fantastic volunteers and appreciate them! Difficulties can arise if volunteers arrive late or do not show up when they are scheduled. Amy will make sure to remind docents. Teachers really appreciate when docents talk with teacher to try and connect if there is a particular theme or unit. Art Walk is scheduled for 4/28/17
Parent/Community Survey:
JoEllen asked for feedback and things that parents might want to know about at MH as she plans to do a parent/community survey. Suggestions below:
- Communication
- Climate
- Safety—parking lot; flashing school zone
- Activities that are offered after school
Principal/Staff Report:
- Student Council:
- The Warm Fuzzies Sale raised $230.00
- We are working on a pet food drive. Each grade level has a different item to collect.
- Discussion on elections for officers for next year
- Kindergarten Registration:
- Sally has handed out 57 packets and has 25 have been returned. We did keep track of those who took a packet so we can reach out to them. In not having the full day lottery the rush to enroll has declined.
- We have about 60 Kindergarteners currently. Very few students started the year leaving at half-day. The majority of those students have now converted to full day.
MH Student Enrollment:
We are at 429 students
Green Team:
- Campus Beautification: Date to be determined
- We are working on recycling and plan to hold an assembly with King Co
- Thursday March 30 Pastries with the Principals in the Library at 9:30am
New Business:
- We will be discussing Planning for 2017-18 in our May meeting
- Planning on Aug days
- Dates for next year to reserve: Meet the Teacher
- Professional Development suggestions that we might want to consider bringing to SLT
- Day 1 of school
- Volunteers and orientation/expectations
- Update from PBSES
- Staff participants for next year—how do we select members?
- Invite Student Council reps to give a summary of the year in Student Council
- Report on STEM Night participation
Dawn PTA Report:
- The winners for box tops were announced. We are down from past years in collections. We typically make around 1000.00 but we made around 800.00. Next year there will be another person in charge of this.
- Suggestion that we collect more frequently. There is a Nov and a March submission to send into box tops. Volunteers place them into baggies in 50’s and then log into the website and enroll them.
- We encourage teachers to keep collecting them throughout the school year.
- Suggestion that possibly Student Council help with collecting and counting them out for volunteers. Put out at the start of the school year to parents that we continue to collect them.
- PTA has an auction chair: Katheryn Swanberg. A date in March and place has been selected. More details to come soon.
Emergency Prep:
We will be adding a collection of funds to support Emerg Prep at the start of the school year
Head Phones for Testing:
We are inviting families to send in a set for their child to use on the computers. Kelley said that they used to have a box in the class that they would take with them to the lab. Possible addition to supply list. JoEllen will send an email to parents. Possibly get a bin for teachers to store in their classrooms.

TITLE/LAP Plan – Sheri
Sheri Ogilvie passed out MH Building plan for Title I/LAP Program and a signature form indicating those present to discuss.
Each year the district uses multiple assessments to select students in order of highest need for additional support.
Sheri’s time must be outside of instructional time for reading and math. Teachers are accommodating to this schedule. This year we started mid-October which was earlier than usual due to shorter testing time.
LAP reading is funded by State and Title I reading is funded by Federal dollars. MH is a Title 1 and LAP school. Groups are mostly 30 min with Kinder 20 minutes for early intervention. There are currently 52 students participating in this year’s program with the bulk coming from K-2. In grades 3-5th there are 11 students. The data shows that early intervention in reading for these students helps to reduce the amount of students who need this intervention in intermediate grades.
Professional Development in the building includes support from our Instructional Coach, Cim Dew as well as multiple trainings that Sheri attends.
Two parents of students who participate in the Reading Zone and the support staff, Jennie W who works with our Title/LAP program attended our meeting and shared the importance of this program and how beneficial it is. Our PTA helps to fund the added support that EA, Jennie provides.
School Improvement Plan – JoEllen
Each year schools are required to set goals and create a plan to help guide us. This is a plan that we share with our community and later in Jan. we will share it with the school board.
We use data including the Smarter Balanced Assessment to help us determine the goals selected. We are focusing on math again this year. Our GAP goal includes the difference in scores between boys and girls in Math. Last year’s goal examined 5th graders. However, we see the importance of 3-5th growth and will be looking at the SBA scores for all three grade levels.
We have a new math curriculum this year and hope to see improvement with better alignment to the state test. The teachers have also created goals on math so we are all working together K-5 for math achievement. All students participated in a pre-assessment and will take a post assessment to help us see how students are doing K-5 by the end of the year.
JoEllen has applied for a math intervention program for after school called ASAP Math Intervention. We hope to be awarded this grant. We hope to get 4th and 5th graders who did not meet standard on SBA into math intervention twice a week from Jan.-Mar.
There is a Math Intervention Night scheduled for MH on Thursday, Jan. 12.
We also added a Math Olympiad this year to help with our high achievers.
A parent shared the importance of reading skills and how a lack in that area can lead to lower scores in math. Our math curriculum spirals so each year as students get the skills, the following year will not be brand new information. Some parents are finding the curriculum difficult to understand so we will try to have more information to parents about how Eureka works and the importance of what the students are doing. JoEllen will send a Principal Message home to parents on what this looks like to reassure parents.
Principal Report
We’ve been waiting for a Traffic beacon for MH. MH is on the top of the list and King County has now emailed to say that a flashing light will be installed in the spring of 2017.
Sound System replacement is being done in MPR and Gym. This will happen in Feb. The district is funding this as part of the upgrades for MH.
Landscaping--We have a new person who was assigned to MH. A few parents emailed about the sidewalk getting smaller at South crossing. Eric is our landscaper and he responded very quickly and has already cleared the area from weeds.
JoEllen is checking into the possibility of widening the sidewalk on that area. He also plans to bark some of the parking lot islands and clear out the garden beds.
Community Relations
Parent Math Informational Night – Jan. 12 @ 6:30pm
Literacy Night Jan. 31st at 6:30-7:30 with Cim and Sheri
Pastries with the Principal – January date – TBD at 9:30am; no specific topics were recommended just have an open forum for questions or discussion
Darlene shared that a Homework Club starts tonight at Passage Point. She has recruited volunteers to work with students.
New Business
Parent Conferences went well. We had a great turnout for conferences. 2nd and 4th grades had student-led conferences. Some parents expressed concern before the conferences began wondering if the conference would be open and honest communication. Kelley shared a 2nd grade teacher perspective about being open and honest with the student there so that the student knows that the teacher and parent are all working together to support them as a team.
Parents may always request a separate conference as well.
PTA
Our numbers of parent PTA memberships are up from last year. There are still scholarships available if a parent wants to join. Contact PTA if assistance is needed.
Weather
A Thank you to parents and staff for pulling together when weather created an early dismissal last week. MH has created an updated list and process to make this go even better if needed again.
Meeting schedule:
- Monday, Mar. 6, 2017 8:00
- Monday, May 22, 2017 8:00: Year-end report
