District Elementary Parent Handbook

Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

JoEllen Tapper

Welcome to Maple Hills!  We are a community of learners who take pride in everything we do.  The Maple Hills staff is extremely proud of the programs we offer our students and we encourage you to make the most of your time with us.  The involvement of parents and community members help to make Maple Hills Elementary an outstanding place.  By working together, we are able to build a learning environment in which all of our children can succeed, both academically and socially.

One way you can do this is to review this student/parent handbook with your child.  It contains answers to many questions you may have now and throughout the school year.  We welcome any questions you might have as the year progresses, so please feel free to contact us at any time.

Another way that you can show your student how much you value their education is by attending some of our fall events.

  • Meet the Teacher – Aug. 28
  • K-5 Curriculum Night – Sept. 19
  • Parent Teacher Conferences – Nov. 12-13

Thank you for supporting your child’s education. Please take a moment to sign up for the Maple Hills Weekly Bulletin so that you will keep up to date with information from me and Maple Hills.

We look forward to this school year with great excitement and hope all of our students will have a successful year!

Sincerely,

JoEllen Tapper
