Celebrating All Things Fall!

Class poses with their costumes on

Fall colors abound as Maple Hills celebrated all things Fall. From our annual Kindergarten Scarecrow parade, to a rainbow of Para "crayons" and Black & Orange parties, our staff and students know how to welcome the new season.

One Kindergarten class even learned about a special holiday: the Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos. Joseph from Ms Kardong's class shared that Dia de los Muertos is a time to reflect on the joy your loved ones brought to your family and remember the wonderful time you had together. Joseph helped his grandmother make an Oferenda, or altar, to honor their passed family members. "I loved adding the marigolds the most because of how beautiful they are," Joseph said.
