Lego Learning Builds Begin with a Generous Donation

Students cheer with trustees

Maple Hills Kindergarteners were visited by the Issaquah School's Foundation Student Trustees, Zinna Park and Aashna Sitka, for a very special presentation. Zinna and Aashna, along with Olivia Yang, Disha Naik, Ian Kim, Zoe Dearing and Aditya Verma, saw the need for STEM materials such as Lego sets in Kindergarten. With hard work and determination, they created Lego Donation Drives at the high schools. Today our young students were presented with engineering materials that will challenge, engage, and provide hours of creativity that would not have been possible without their efforts. It is truly inspiring to see high school students take the lead on a project that supports and uplifts younger students in such a meaningful way. Thank you, Issaquah Schools Foundation and student trustees! Our Kindergarten teachers are so grateful!
