On Tuesday, June 9, seniors from Liberty High School who attended Maple Hills returned to their elementary to say a final good-bye. Maple Hills students lined the hallways, cheering for the graduates and waving signs. Second grader Joseph R said, "It was so cool because I gave a high five to mostly everybody, and everyone was shouting, 'Let's go Liberty!'" Macklin J, another Second Grade student, said, "I think it was pretty cool seeing what we would look like in many, many years. We will probably look similar to them."

After the Seniors Parade, Liberty graduates visited old classrooms and participated in parachute games in PE. Reflecting on the day, Betsy Sanford, MH 5th grade teacher, said, "Seeing my former students walk the halls in their caps and gowns, grown up and ready to conquer the world, is a true honor and gift. Being able to wish them well and hear them reminisce about their younger years brought this teacher so much joy!"

Congratulations, Liberty graduates! The Maple Hills students and staff are proud of you!
