Rhubarb the Reindeer Visits Maple Hills!

Students chat with Rhubarb the Reindeer

What a day! Rhubarb the Reindeer, from the Tacoma Rainiers baseball team, brought endless smiles and excitement to our lunchtime on Friday, May 17. High fives, cheers, and tons of pictures made it an unforgettable experience for all the students. Rhubarb was a hit, spreading joy wherever he went with his dance moves and hugs. Blake, a fourth grade student, said, "I loved when Rhubarb did the gritty! The Tacoma Rainiers are my second favorite baseball team, after the Mariners."

Thanks to the Maple Hills PTA for organizing our fun Night at the Park event, selling 124 tickets for the June 8 game which allowed Rhubarb to visit! Also, a huge thank you to the Tacoma Rainiers for sending Rhubarb our way, and to his friend, Owen, for managing the crowd. Our students can't wait to watch the game on June 8!
