Third Grade Hour of Coding

Just before winter break, high school student Jack Nguyen taught a lesson on Dashbots to Kelly Brunell's 3rd Grade class during their week of "Hour of Code." Nguyen attends Gibson Ek High School and is doing an internship at Maple Hills with our counselor, Amber Bryant. He is passionate about coding and robotics and enthusiastically shared about this career field to a very captivated audience, which then led to an engaging lesson on how to make these robots follow directional commands, form various sounds and speak.
